Team types can be created per each organization’s requirements or seasonal needs. Once defined, team types can be applied to an entire season and individual groupings in the Seasonal Structures.

1. From the Demosphere Universal dashboard click Season Structure > Settings > select Team Types. (Note: If you do not have the product available, please contact Demosphere support at support@demosphere.com to enable this product).  

2. Existing team types will be displayed on the screen. To add a new team type click on Add Team Type. Enter the team type name and click Save.  

3. Click on the Edit Team Type button to modify the team type name. When choosing to edit existing team types, there will be an option to update all teams with the New Team Type Name OR update to a Blank Team Type Value. 

   • If choosing New Team Type Name: Any teams with the previous team type will adopt the new modified value.

   • If choosing Blank Team Type Value: Any teams with the previous team type will not adopt the new modified team type and return back to a blank team type. Those teams will need to have a type defined for them.   

4. Use the reposition option to change the sort order of the team types or click the remove icon to delete the team type.
