Delete Manually Added or Imported Games


Administrators can now remove any future games that were manually added or imported within the Schedules product. Any future games added by error or no longer needed can also be removed by commissioners or schedulers who have permission to access the respective competitive/season. Follow the steps below to remove any future games.
 

Delete a Single Game:

  1. From the Demosphere Universal Experience dashboard click Schedules > choose your competition/ season from the drop-down menus.

  2. Use the columns/ filters or search box to locate the game.

  3. Click the Remove Game icon adjacent to the game listing. A dialog box will appear on the screen asking you to confirm your choice, click Remove

    • Note: Past games will not be able to be deleted.  

  1. The game is now removed from the schedule. Depending on game visibility settings that are configured for the season, team staff and/or team members may receive a push notification via the Demosphere mobile app alerting them of the removed game. 

  2.  Any associated assignors and/or referees will be notified via email of the game removal. 

 

Note: Any games that are sourced from Scheduling Admin Elements will not have an option to be deleted and should continue to be managed in the Scheduling Admin Elements product.

 

Delete Games en Masse: 

  1. From the Demosphere Universal Experience dashboard click Schedules > choose your competition/season > click on the Season tab. 
  2. On the Scheduling tab select Game Schedules on the Report menu.

  3. Click on the mini menu and select Delete Games. 

  1. The Remove Games view will display on the screen. Use the filter/sort options in each column to locate games. 

    • Tip: Before clicking on the Remove Games button in the mini menu, use the Season Structure to select specific groupings or divisions. Only games scheduled within the respective grouping will display on the Remove Games view if a specific grouping is selected. 


 

  1. Check the boxes of each future game you wish to delete. Use the Select All button if you wish to delete all the games on the current screen or find specific games using the search box and sort/filter options on each header. 


 

  1. Once complete, click Save. A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the games you are about to delete. Click Remove to proceed or click Cancel to return to the previous screen. 

  1. The games are now removed from the season. The following users will be sent a push notification via the Demosphere Mobile App if configurations have been enabled for them to view game schedules:

    • Team Staff

    • Players and Parents

  1. Referees will be notified via push notification if they have accepted an assignment for a deleted game.
